WHAT YOU'LL DO:


We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager / HVAC Designer to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing project management, technical leadership, and mechanical/HVAC design services across a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong MEP experience and the ability to manage projects while remaining actively involved in the technical design.


  • Manage mechanical projects and project teams from concept through completion.
  • Provide technical leadership and mechanical/HVAC design on assigned projects.
  • Assist with and produce construction documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing facilities.
  • Perform and review HVAC load calculations and equipment selections.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
  • Review construction documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to address project needs and resolve technical issues.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient design practices into projects when applicable.



What We're looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
  • Experience in MEP engineering and mechanical/HVAC project management.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes, standards, and industry practices.
  • Experience performing accurate HVAC load calculations.
  • Mechanical/HVAC design experience in retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, cooling towers, and related markets.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment selection, and building design.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient building systems.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate projects across multiple disciplines.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with project teams.
