Architectural Designer


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting projects, including commercial, healthcare, education, mixed-use, hospitality, municipal, and residential developments. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop innovative design solutions from concept through construction.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in the planning, design, and development of architectural projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, renderings, and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
  • Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and project team members.
  • Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and project coordination meetings.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with field observations as needed.
  • Research building materials, products, and construction methods.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Support project managers with scheduling, documentation, and project deliverables.
  • Revise drawings based on client feedback, consultant coordination, and construction requirements.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 2+ years of architectural design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction documents, detailing, and building systems.
  • Understanding of IBC, ADA, and local building codes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working on commercial, healthcare, educational, mixed-use, or institutional projects.
  • Experience creating 3D models and architectural renderings.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows.
  • Progress toward architectural licensure is a plus.
