Summary: Our team is looking for a CAD/BIM Drafter to support the design team with drafting, drawing production, and document preparation. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience working with drafting software, preferably in an engineering or architectural environment. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working from markups and verbal direction to produce accurate design drawings.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the design team to prepare drawings based on markups, sketches, and verbal direction.
• Create and modify drawings using CAD/BIM software.
• Prepare PDF and printed drawing sets for project reviews and presentations.
• Maintain drafting standards and ensure drawings are consistent and accurate.
• Support the CAD Manager and overall CAD/BIM department.
• Assist with drawing revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other members of the project team.
• Perform other drafting and project-related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience working with CAD/BIM or engineering design software preferred.
• Experience with Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Previous drafting experience in an engineering, architecture, construction, or related environment is preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings, markups, and design direction.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a design team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working for extended periods at a computer.

Ideal Candidate- The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented CAD/BIM Drafter who enjoys supporting engineers and designers and turning markups and design direction into accurate, organized drawings. Experience with Revit MEP or AutoCAD is preferred, along with experience in an engineering or architectural setting.
