About the Company:
My client is seeking a talented Mid-Level Architect/Designer with a minimum of four years of experience to participate on a full-service design team on complex industrial and technology projects from inception through construction documents. This person will be part of a team of in-house professionals including architects, mechanical and electrical engineers and construction managers. While this position does not require a licensed architect, it is highly desirable. Salary will be commensurate with background and project experience.
Background:
My client is a dynamic Design-Build firm located in Sunnyvale, CA and has a 45-year history of success. Our client base is primarily within Silicon Valley and consists of emerging and established clients in the semiconductor, aerospace, biotech and university markets requiring innovative design solutions for research, testing, manufacturing and production facilities.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ architectural design experience
Experience designing clean rooms, laboratories and other intricate industrial facilities
BA or BArch
Licensed Architect not required but highly desirable
LEED accreditation desirable
Strong production and coordination skills using Autodesk Revit is required
Strong production skills using AutoCAD is desired
Strong skills with MS Word, Teams, Excel, Access and Project
Knowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essential
Strong written and verbal communications skills required to coordinate work between in-house design team members
Strong presentation and teaming skills to coordinate with client management and end-user representatives
