Summary: We are looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead a variety of public works and private land development projects. This role combines project management, civil design, client relationships, and team leadership.

You’ll work directly with clients, oversee project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and help bring projects from initial concept through completion. This is also a seller-doer role, with opportunities to develop new business and grow client relationships.


What You’ll Do


  • Manage public works and private land development projects
  • Lead project teams, including engineers and CAD designers
  • Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and profitability
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Solve civil engineering and design challenges
  • Work directly with clients and manage project communications
  • Develop proposals, scopes, fees, change orders, and project documentation
  • Help develop new business and identify project opportunities
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff
  • Ensure projects meet quality and technical standards
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and plan development


What We’re Looking For


  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Active P.E. license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with grading, drainage, streets, utilities, sewers, and stormwater design
  • Experience preparing grading plans, utility plans, site plans, and cost estimates
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
