Summary: We’re looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join a collaborative team working on a variety of public and private land development projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys civil site design, working with clients and project teams, and seeing projects move from concept through construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop civil engineering plans for land development projects
- Work on projects including subdivisions, multifamily developments, schools, municipal facilities, healthcare, parks, roadways, and other site developments
- Prepare grading, drainage, stormwater, sanitary sewer, water, utility, and roadway designs
- Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines throughout the project
- Assist with permitting and project coordination
- Help keep projects on schedule and meet client expectations
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification
- 3+ years of civil engineering/site design experience
- Experience with public and private development projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with stormwater modeling software such as WWHM, MGS Flood, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Experience working directly with clients
- Experience with permitting and construction administration
- PE license or progress toward obtaining a PE
