Seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Senior Acoustical Consultant to join the management team of our Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee high-profile projects, and contribute to the team's growth and development. This role requires deep expertise in acoustical consulting, exceptional leadership skills, and strong business acumen.


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration team.
  • Manage and oversee large-scale, complex acoustical consulting projects, ensuring quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct advanced acoustical analysis, noise and vibration assessments, and modeling for a wide range of projects, including architectural acoustics, MEP systems, environmental impact assessments, transportation, and construction.
  • Develop and implement innovative noise and vibration mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior management and multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, architects, and environmental scientists.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  • Lead business development efforts, including client relationship management, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing proposals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in acoustics, noise, and vibration, and apply this knowledge to enhance our services and capabilities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in acoustical consulting, with a proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Extensive experience with acoustical modeling software (e.g., Treble, EASE, CadnaA, INSUL, AIM, etc.) and measurement equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., INCE Board Certification) are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.

Compensation will range from $125K to $175K, and commensurate with experience.
