Job Summary


We are seeking a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will plan and direct subsurface investigations, analyze soil and rock mechanics, and provide foundation design recommendations for commercial and infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities


  • Subsurface Investigations: Plan and supervise field borings, test pits, and soil sampling programs.
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations for bearing capacity, slope stability, settlement, and lateral earth pressures.
  • Technical Reporting: Write comprehensive engineering reports with practical construction recommendations.
  • Site Observation: Monitor earthwork construction and foundation installation for plan compliance.
  • Software Modeling: Utilize geotechnical software such as GeoStudio or PLAXIS for stability and seepage modeling.


Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
  • Licensure: Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Skills: Strong technical writing, communication abilities, and a valid driver’s license.
