Responsibilities:

• Water and wastewater engineering including water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution mains, collection system piping, booster stations, and sanitary lift stations.
• Basic engineering computations, design, layout, modeling, CAD, and engineering reports
• Prepare construction plans, contract specifications and cost estimates.
• Water and sewer hydraulic modelling
• Assist with monitoring of construction phase activities
• Work both independently and in a team environment under the supervision of a lead engineer or project manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on water and wastewater
• 2+ years of related experience
• Ability to obtain PE in the State of Michigan
• EIT/FE preferred if PE has not been obtained
• Valid drivers license
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant design experience based on qualifications listed
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Plant3D
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software
