Position: Sales Manager
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Compensation: $25 to $27 per hour + Commission + Benefits
We are seeking a high-energy Sales Manager to lead revenue growth for a luxury beauty and skincare studio in Richmond, VA. This role is perfect for someone who excels in a membership-driven, service-focused, fast-paced environment and loves creating a welcoming, high-touch guest experience.
The ideal candidate is a natural closer with a background in retail sales, spa or wellness sales, fitness studio sales, or hospitality guest engagement. This position plays a key role in driving membership conversions, service upgrades, and long-term client retention.
Responsibilities
- Drive membership sales, upgrades, and service revenue through proactive outreach and in-studio engagement
- Lead the front desk team to ensure strong conversion rates, exceptional service delivery, and consistent client follow-through
- Build relationships with clients by offering personalized recommendations and upselling value-added services
- Maintain smooth daily operations, assist with scheduling, and support team performance
- Collaborate closely with leadership and report directly to the Sales Director on KPIs and sales outcomes
Requirements
- Proven success in retail sales, spa/wellness sales, fitness membership sales, hospitality sales, or similar service-based environments
- Strong customer service instincts with a passion for delivering a polished, luxury-level guest experience
- Ability to lead the front desk, manage daily studio operations, and support a high-volume sales flow
- Comfortable working toward sales targets, membership goals, and performance metrics
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Must live within a reasonable commute of Richmond, VA
