Sr. Director of Sales – Interactive Displays & Collaboration Solutions
Location: Irvine, CA or Dallas, TX (Preferred)
The Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing global technology company transforming how organizations collaborate, communicate, and connect through innovative display and unified communications solutions. With a broad portfolio spanning interactive flat panels, Direct View LED, Microsoft Teams Rooms certified hardware, and commercial displays, they are rapidly expanding their North American sales leadership team.
We are looking for a Sr. Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, build and lead a high-performing sales organization, and expand market presence across enterprise, education, and public sector verticals. This is a senior individual contributor and leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has the credibility, relationships, and drive to make an immediate impact.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Revenue Leadership
- Own and execute the national sales strategy across interactive displays, Direct View LED, and MTR-certified collaboration solutions
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets through direct sales activity and team leadership
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting to senior leadership
- Identify and develop new market opportunities across enterprise, education, government, and hospitality verticals
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of regional sales managers and business development professionals
- Implement a consultative, value-based selling culture focused on long-term client relationships
- Drive accountability through structured business planning, performance management, and ongoing coaching
Channel and Partner Development
- Build and expand relationships with system integrators, VARs, distributors, consultants, architects, and design-build firms
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with key channel partners
- Drive partner enablement, training, and co-selling initiatives to grow partner-driven pipeline
Enterprise and End-User Engagement
- Engage C-level executives and key decision-makers across target accounts
- Position solutions across varied use cases from huddle rooms to large-scale auditoriums and command centers
- Support high-visibility enterprise deals from initial specification through close and deployment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the voice of the customer and channel to product, marketing, and operations teams
- Provide competitive and market intelligence to inform go-to-market strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer conferences
What You Will Bring
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in ProAV, unified communications, or visual display technologies
- Proven track record of building and scaling revenue across multiple product categories and geographies
- Deep experience selling through and with system integrators, distributors, and channel partners
- Strong relationships across the AV and UC specifier community, including consultants, architects, and design-build firms
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams with full P/L responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to engage and close at the C-suite level across enterprise and public sector accounts
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes and priorities
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in business or related field
- CTS, DSDE, or other relevant industry certifications
- Experience with MTR-certified hardware, Direct View LED, or interactive flat panel solutions
- Background working with or for a global manufacturer with a channel-driven sales model
- Experience managing through acquisitions, mergers, or organizational change
