Field & Service Manager – LED Display Solutions

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Field & Service Manager to lead a talented team of Field Engineers and Service Technicians responsible for delivering world-class LED display installations and support. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise, people management, and operational oversight. You’ll guide field teams through installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service operations, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Mentor: Supervise, train, and coach Field Engineers and Service Technicians on technical best practices, customer interaction, and problem-solving.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage team schedules, travel, expenses, and equipment to ensure consistent coverage and efficiency.
  • Performance & Accountability: Track KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and use customer feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in workflows, documentation, and field operations standards.
  • Customer Support: Act as a point of escalation for client issues and ensure timely, professional resolution.
  • Hands-On Involvement: Step into the field as needed to support complex installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering, project management, and operations teams to maintain quality and consistency across all installations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Record field activity, non-conformance issues, and service reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct field observations and ensure all work meets technical specifications and company standards.
  • Travel: Up to 50% domestic and international travel to observe, support, and lead field activities.


What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in AV or LED display systems (digital signage experience preferred).
  • Previous leadership or team management experience in field service or technical operations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, able to lead by example in both the office and the field.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and other business or service management software.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred (relevant experience considered in place of degree).
