Regional Sales Director – Southwest
Location: Southwest U.S. (Preferably Dallas, TX)
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead and grow A/V Channel Sales efforts across the Southwest region. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing technology company that is transforming how organizations collaborate through software-driven solutions.
You will be responsible for developing the regional strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding channel partnerships, and positioning innovative collaboration technology within enterprise and higher education markets.
This role is ideal for a senior sales professional who thrives in dynamic environments, understands channel-driven sales models, and enjoys building markets around emerging technologies.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Regional Revenue Leadership
- Own and execute the Southwest regional sales strategy
- Identify, target, and grow enterprise and education accounts
- Achieve or exceed regional revenue objectives
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
Channel Development & Partner Management
- Recruit, enable, and support authorized channel partners
- Strengthen relationships with integrators, resellers, and consultants
- Drive joint account planning and go-to-market execution
Market Expansion
- Position software-driven collaboration solutions within traditionally hardware-driven environments
- Identify new growth opportunities within enterprise and education verticals
- Provide competitive and market intelligence to leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, support, and finance teams to ensure alignment
- Serve as the regional liaison between customers, partners, and corporate leadership
Industry Engagement
- Support customer demos, conferences, and trade events
- Represent the company professionally in client-facing environments
What You’ll Bring
- 10–12 years of sales and business development experience in AV, enterprise collaboration, or related technology markets
- Proven track record of revenue growth and partner development
- Strong experience managing reseller, integrator, and consultant relationships
- Deep understanding of distributed networks, digital switching and control, TCP/IP, and unified communications
- Experience selling emerging or disruptive technologies
- Comfort operating in remote reporting structures
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Based in the Southwest region (Dallas, TX preferred)
Preferred:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Industry certifications
- Experience with collaboration software platforms
- Experience in venture-backed or high-growth technology environments
