Account Executive – Commercial AV
Location: Greater Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Territory: New England (local travel required)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an Account Executive to grow and manage client relationships across the New England region. This role is a mix of new business development and account management, focused on understanding client needs and delivering well-designed audiovisual solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys consultative selling, values long-term relationships, and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities. You’ll work closely with internal teams while spending regular time meeting clients on site. Candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Boston office.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client needs are addressed promptly
- Hold regular meetings and maintain consistent communication
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and existing accounts
- Present solutions aligned with client goals and technical requirements
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed assigned quotas
Account Strategy & Growth
- Monitor account performance to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and add value
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings
Proposals & Collaboration
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals
- Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to design tailored solutions
- Participate in solution reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions in the CRM
- Use financial and account data to inform sales strategies
- Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, forecasts, and client feedback
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or commercial AV preferred
- Associate degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with audiovisual systems, equipment, or technical terminology is a plus
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems; Q360 experience a plus
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, client-facing presence
- Reliable transportation for travel to the office and client sites
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Hybrid role with regular time in the office and at client locations
- Ability to attend meetings, presentations, and site visits
- Occasionally required to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Typical office and client-site environment with low to moderate noise levels
