Job Title: MTR Pre-Sales Consultant
Location: Western or Central U.S.
Reports To: Regional Sales Leadership
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced MTR Pre-Sales Consultant to support regional sales efforts by providing technical expertise and solution guidance within the Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) ecosystem. This role works closely with the sales team, channel partners, product management, and marketing to design, present, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Technical Support
- Partner with the regional sales team to achieve revenue targets by providing pre-sales consultation and solution expertise.
- Understand customer requirements and design/recommend the right Microsoft Teams Room solutions.
- Provide technical support for customer proof-of-concept (POC) activities to ensure a positive experience.
Channel Partner Enablement
- Support channel partners in selecting the right solutions based on their strategy and customer requirements.
- Deliver training sessions to enable partners to effectively position and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with partners on customer-facing activities, demonstrations, and presentations.
Project & Solution Design
- Engage deeply with customer scenarios to create tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the product team to provide input that refines solutions and ensures alignment with customer needs.
Marketing & Evangelism
- Partner with marketing to participate in activities such as webinars, roadshows, and video recordings to promote MTR solutions.
Feedback & Reporting
- Gather and share market feedback to influence product roadmaps and solution development.
- Create documentation to help partners and customers understand solutions effectively.
- Prepare necessary reports related to pre-sales activities and technical support.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience within the Microsoft Teams Room ecosystem.
- Strong product knowledge and technical expertise, including system integration, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent presentation and demo skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions simply.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with multi-level stakeholders.
- Based in Western or Central U.S. region (preferred).
