Test Associate

The Test Associate will load firmware and test displays in accordance to testing procedures determined by Quality Assurance and Engineering departments, ensuring it operates as designed and adhere to quality standards. Test associate will maintain result records, troubleshoot issues, and maintain an proactively collaborate with assembly and project packaging teams for a smooth and efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

  • Move displays to and from testing area.
  • Load mapping files onto display.
  • Perform go/no-go display test by connecting cables and LED boards (PCBs).
  • Identify display defects and malfunctions
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on display including wiring, connections and loaded file.
  • Support Assembling, Quality Assurance and Engineering team during troubleshooting.
  • Interface with assembly team bringing assembly suggestions based on visual inspections.
  • Log test results for compliance and traceability.
  • Log non-conformances following Quality Assurance oversight.
  • Support development of monthly quality reports.
  • Move displays from assembly to test area, and from test to project assembly area.
  • Assist wrapping display after test.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow testing protocols and work with technical schematics
  • Experience in wiring and connecting cables to circuited boards
  • Basic computer skills
  • Handy and capable to work with power tools
  • Attentive to detail and quality of workmanship
  • Work in a team environment and with specified deadlines
  • Capable to read and interpret production drawings

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with integrated testing procedures
  • Experience in assembly lines of electric, electronic products
  • Experience in troubleshooting systems
