Denture Finishing Technician – Calgary, Alberta

Position Overview

A full-service dental laboratory in Calgary is seeking a skilled Denture Finishing Technician to support the final stages of full and partial denture production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in producing high-quality removable prosthetics with precision, consistency, and excellent aesthetic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trim and contour denture bases and frameworks using appropriate rotary tools and hand instruments
  • Polish and finish full and partial dentures to meet clinical and laboratory specifications
  • Inspect all appliances for accuracy, fit, and finish; ensure they meet quality and functional standards
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and supervisory staff to meet production timelines
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workstation
  • Complete documentation for production logs, case notes, and quality checks

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in denture finishing or crown & bridge finishing
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to fine detail
  • Understanding of common dental materials, tools, and workflow processes
  • Ability to interpret dental prescriptions, models, and technical requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
