Metal Finisher / Crown & Bridge Technician

About the Laboratory

A well-established family-owned dental laboratory serving the Bay Area for over 45 years is seeking an experienced Metal Finisher / Crown & Bridge Technician to join its team. The lab offers a stable and supportive work environment, with many team members having been with the company for 20+ years.

This role is ideal for a technician with strong metal finishing skills who is also comfortable trimming dies and waxing in a crown & bridge workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform metal finishing for crown & bridge restorations
• Trim dies accurately and prepare cases for production
• Perform waxing for crown & bridge cases
• Seat and finish ceramic frameworks
• Seat and polish gold crowns
• Work under magnification or microscope when required
• Maintain quality control standards with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with the lab team to ensure efficient case workflow

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental laboratory experience
• Strong experience in metal finishing
• Ability to trim dies and perform waxing
• Experience seating ceramic frameworks and polishing gold crowns
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a high-quality production environment
