THE ROLE: The Senior Associate is a key member of the firm and plays an integral role in the execution of senior- and executive-level searches. Working closely with Partners and Principals, the Senior Associate supports multiple complex and fast-paced searches simultaneously, contributing to research, candidate development, search operations, and client and candidate engagement. This role upholds a high standard of service excellence throughout every stage of the search process.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Research, Recruitment, & Sourcing

  • Conduct original research for each search using web-based tools, AI capabilities, LinkedIn Recruiter, and proprietary databases.
  • Develop target source lists, market maps, and talent pipelines aligned with position specifications.
  • Identify, source, and track high-caliber candidates for senior leadership and executive searches.

 

Candidate Engagement & Screening

  • Conduct outreach to prospective candidates, providing role-specific information and assessing interest and alignment.
  • Review application materials and conduct initial screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and fit.
  • Support candidates throughout the search process with professionalism, discretion, and care.

 

Search Project Management

  • Manage communications with candidates, clients, search committees, and internal team members.
  • Track search timelines, stages, and deliverables to ensure milestones are met and searches stay on schedule.
  • Coordinate logistics including candidate scheduling, planning and supporting Search Committee meetings, and placing search advertisements.

 

Data Management & Technology

  • Maintain and update a state-of-the-art proprietary database, accurately logging candidate interactions and search progress.
  • Leverage AI tools, cloud-based software, and social media platforms to enhance research and recruiting efforts.

 

Team Collaboration

  • Participate actively in team meetings and collaborate closely with colleagues to support firm-wide recruiting and pipeline development goals.
  • Contribute to a collegial, entrepreneurial, and client-focused culture.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience & Competencies:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, executive search, nonprofit/philanthropic organizations, or professional services, with exposure to senior-level or executive searches and work with boards or search committees preferred.
  • Strategic, inquisitive, and perceptive professional with strong listening skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly.
  • Highly organized with strong project and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and proactive team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to take initiative.


Technology & Research

  • Database-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with cloud-based tools, AI applications, and design/email platforms.
  • ·Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and multi-channel research strongly preferred.

JOB DETAILS: This is currently a remote/work from home opportunity for a professional authorized to work in the United States.

 

COMPENSATION: Base compensation $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
