Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for building business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients, researching and analyzing sales options. You will directly report to the Sales Director. This position will give you the opportunity to expand your executive management skills, experiences and excel your career in sales-related roles in the chemical industry.

Essential Functions:
• Assists customers with basic knowledge on the polyurethane industry, account strategies, sales planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Creates marketing plan, develops potential customers, and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets, mainly focusing on base polyols
• Negotiate sales or sales-related contracts
• Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers
• Checks on competitors activity on existing customers and implements adequate countermeasures to secure business
• Troubleshoots problems regarding products or samples supplied
• Answers questions and handles complaints from customers
• Contact customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company
• Collaborate with Production, TS&D, Customer Service, QA, QC, Logistics, Accounting and other related internal divisions to set up business schemes to satisfy customers
• Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly
• Ensure reporting and communications frequent and bi-directional
• Reports and communicates with President precisely and frequently to ensure marketing and sales directions
• Feedbacks target market segment and customer needs to new product development in timely manner, to support efficient product development to TS&D department

Working Environment:
• This job operates in a clerical, office setting in headquarter and production areas. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud
• The employee is required to travel to domestic or overseas frequently
• The employee can be allowed to work at home by the Company’s decision
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Chemistry or Science related field required, or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience
• Minimum of (5) years’ experience in polyurethane or related chemical sales
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
• Multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Time-management skills
• No disqualification to travel to domestic or overseas
