Our client is a privately held, industry leader in the design, marketing, sourcing, and distribution of 20+ brands, in over 20K stores in 6 countries. In business 45 Years they are focused on product varieties in fashion, home, and holiday brands, licensing, and private label.

We are looking for a creative and skilled Surface Designer for seasonal holiday to join our team designing gift wraps, gift bags, stickers, boxes, snacks, crackers (basically anything holiday that you would find in holiday section) party - plates, napkins, cups, straws, party sets etc...

This is a work from home/hybrid position and a great opportunity to work with a fun engaging team.

Responsibilities:

• Will be head designer for all party/seasonal items for our key account we are growing.
• Design seasonal print and pattern work for line development which includes prints, yarn dyes, logos, appliqués, graphics, and embroidery
• Work with Design & Product Development to understand seasonal pattern work needs, review all pattern strike-offs and lab dips
• Aid in the creation of Style CADs for assortment presentation purposes
• Format all artwork development for transmission in Tech Packs
• Update and maintain in-house print/pattern library
• Establish and monitor the CAD process and calendar to ensure project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Background in holiday/seasonal CAD is recommended
• Ability to draw garments, shapes and silhouettes
• Strong CAD experience
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must be able to go into office as needed
• Strong eye for color and fashion
