Building out the technical team! Our client is a privately held industry leader in designing, marketing, sourcing, and distributing 20+ brands in over 20K stores in 6 countries.

They have been in business for 43 years and are focused on fashion product variety, brands, licensing, and private labels.


In this role, you'll collaborate with the Design Director and team to create technical specifications for various categories, including men's/boys' underwear, lounge, and outerwear. You must be a self-starter and capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously while paying attention to deadlines and benchmarks.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with Men’s/Boy's lounge, underwear, and outerwear.
  • Create flats as needed for tech packs
  • Grade specs, evaluate fits
  • Independently conduct fittings and make necessary fit comments and adjustments to ensure proper fit and functionality
  • Communicate with overseas on fit samples & adjustments
  • Work closely with design on new products / fits needed
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and sketches using Adobe Illustrator
  • Create and maintain accurate measurement charts and grading specifications
  • Collaborate with product management to ensure designs are feasible for production
  • Communicate with manufacturers to address any technical issues or questions


Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Adobe Illustrator, for creating technical drawings and sketches
  • Strong knowledge of fashion design principles and techniques
  • Experience in grading / fitting underwear & fit is strongly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately measure garments
  • Knowledge of product management processes and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams


Compensation/Benefits:

  • Annual Salary, $80K to $100K range, depending on experience
  • Full Benefits
