As we approach our 90th year in the design, manufacture, and marketing of branded, licensed, and private label apparel we are excited to invite a CFO to join our team.
The CFO provides leadership and coordination in the accounting, control, risk management, business planning and budgeting efforts of the Company. The CFO is also responsible for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements and oversees the financial audits as well as all internal and operational audits for the Company. The CFO is also responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, and tax planning.
The CFO is a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with the family as a member of the executive team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership team in developing and executing the Company's strategic direction.
- Tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses
- and proposing corrective actions.
- Provides financial reporting and guidance to senior management and the Board, including reporting, budget
- information, strategic planning, and profitability maximization through income, expenses, trends and analysis.
- Generates financial and management reports, manages staff, coordinates with outside auditors, outside examiners and other agencies.
- Develops the Annual Operating Budget with senior management. Provides timely forecasts by establishing assumptions, reviewing preliminary department and consolidated budgets and modifying as appropriate.
- Presents the final budget to the Board for approval.
- Preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis for Board meetings. Meets with Board members as needed or requested. Prepares and present monthly updates to the senior management.
- Responsible for maintaining corporate banking relationships, management of corporate line of credit and compliance with debt guidelines, including asset based lending.
- Exceptional insight to budgeting and cost control principles.
- Manage Finance departments.
- Interface with all operations management.
- Work closely with IT/Systems Department
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- CPA (preferred)
- 10-15+ years in senior level finance or accounting position with deep experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and experience in the adoption and application of changing and new standards.
- Experience with manufacturing and direct to consumer ERP systems

Role:

- Position can be NYC or PA (Lehigh Valley) based
