Business Analyst: Walmart Item Setup, Sales & Operations Specialist (Supplier One + Nova Required)
Global apparel company is seeking a highly detail-oriented, hands-on Walmart Item Setup & Operations Specialist to support and manage their growing business with Walmart.
This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for owning item setup, order creation, data accuracy, and weekly reporting across Walmart systems. The ideal candidate has direct, hands-on experience with Supplier One / Item 360 and Nova, and understands how to take a product from initial setup through launch, replenishment, and ongoing performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Item Setup & System Execution
• Own end-to-end item setup in Walmart systems (Supplier One / Item 360)
• Ensure all item attributes are accurate before submission to avoid rework
• Manage item approvals, troubleshoot rejections, and ensure timely go-live
Masterfile & Data Management
• Build and maintain Masterfile templates for all items (store and eCommerce)
• Ensure alignment between:
• Maintain accurate tracking of:
• Create and maintain cross-reference charts for internal and external use
FC Order Creation & Execution
• Create and manage FC order templates for Walmart fulfillment
• Ensure orders are submitted accurately and at least 8 weeks prior to MABD
• Validate pack configurations, GTIN usage, and replenishment setup before submission
• Coordinate with Walmart teams to review and process orders
Nova Order Management
• Write and manage test orders and pop-up orders in Nova
• Ensure correct item, pack, and GTIN alignment within orders
• Troubleshoot order issues and ensure alignment with Walmart requirements
Sales Reporting & Weekly Recap
• Prepare and distribute weekly sales recaps using Walmart reporting tools (Retail Link, Scintilla, or similar)
• Analyze performance by style, color, size, and channel (Store vs eCommerce)
• Identify key insights including top sellers, underperforming items, and inventory risks
• Share clear and concise summaries with internal teams and Walmart partners as needed
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Communicate directly with Walmart merchants, Omni teams, and replenishment partners
• Coordinate with internal teams and factories to ensure accurate execution
• Send finalized item and order details to factories for production alignment
Item Setup Accuracy & Compliance
• Ensure correct setup of:
• Follow Walmart item setup standards to prevent supply chain, replenishment, and inventory issues
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Walmart systems on the supplier side
• Direct experience with:
• Experience creating FC orders or managing Walmart PO / order flow
• Strong understanding of:
• Experience pulling and analyzing sales data from Walmart systems (Retail Link, Scintilla, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, data validation, tracking)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Walmart modular processes (Ames)
• Background working with apparel or private label brands
• Familiarity with Walmart Retail Link or Supplier Center
• Experience supporting both Store and eCommerce item setup

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience
