PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We're searching for a Principal Software Engineer to take full ownership of a mature B2B product. Not maintain it. Own it. Audit what's there, fix what's holding it back, and architect the next generation of it.

This is a builder's seat with a leader's reach. You'll set the technical direction and mentor the backend team that executes it, reporting directly to the VP of Industrial Technology.

What you'll own:

• Full product development lifecycle, from auditing existing design through implementation
• Architecture of new features on a live, high-traffic B2B platform
• Leading and mentoring a team of backend engineers building scalable services
• Security, data protection, and compliance best practices baked in, not bolted on
• Translating what cross-functional departments actually need into system reality

What we need to see:

• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 7-8 years in design and product development, in a true B2B setting
• Fluency in C#, .NET, Node, and MS SQL Server
• Front end depth in React or Vue, TypeScript, and Bootstrap
• REST and GraphQL, Postgres patterns, NoSQL, Linux backend environments
• Serverless AWS and demonstrated CI/CD expertise
• Real UI / UX instincts. This product is judged on how it feels, not just whether it runs
• Someone who can talk to engineers and non-engineers with equal credibility
