Position Overview
We are partnering with a growing industrial services organization to hire a President to lead strategic growth, business development, and operational alignment across the business. This executive will serve as the primary link between the CEO and the leadership team, with direct oversight of field operations leadership and the sales organization.
This role will be central to scaling the company over the next phase of growth through disciplined sales execution, expansion into new revenue streams, and focused business development within dewatering, potable water, dredging, pipe cleaning, and related industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Growth
- Lead and execute company wide growth strategies focused on revenue and market expansion
- Identify and pursue new markets, service lines, and revenue opportunities
- Drive business development efforts within core industrial service verticals
- Partner with the CEO to translate strategic vision into executable plans
Sales Leadership and Performance
- Lead the sales organization with clear structure, expectations, and accountability
- Establish sales strategy, performance targets, and reporting cadence
- Track pipeline health, forecasts, and conversion performance
- Coach and develop sales leaders and individual contributors
Operational Oversight
- Provide executive oversight to field operations leadership to ensure alignment between sales and delivery
- Ensure operational capacity scales with growth initiatives
- Drive cross functional collaboration to improve execution and profitability
Executive Communication and Organizational Leadership
- Serve as a key communication bridge between the CEO and leadership team
- Lead leadership meetings and drive alignment across departments
- Reduce executive bottlenecks by assuming direct oversight of designated leaders
- Build a performance driven, accountable leadership culture
Background Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or Operations
- 12 plus years of progressive leadership experience with senior executive responsibility
- Proven experience leading multi department organizations including sales and operations
- Strong background in business development and revenue growth
- Track record of building and managing high performing sales teams
- Experience aligning sales commitments with operational execution
- Strong financial and business acumen including profitability, pricing, and scaling considerations
- Experience overseeing budgets and P&L responsibility
- Strategic thinker with hands on execution capability
- Comfortable operating in fast paced, growth oriented environments
- Experience launching or expanding service lines or markets
- Prior experience in industrial services, dewatering, potable water, wastewater, dredging, pipe and tank cleaning, or environmental services strongly preferred
- Strong leadership presence with high integrity and sound judgment
