Overnight hazmat driving opportunity in Kyle, TX with competitive pay and built-in overtime every week. This is a contract-to-hire role with a real path to full-time employment at a growing logistics operation.
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a logistics company supporting critical overnight transportation operations out of Kyle, TX. This is a new and growing operation, which means strong performers who come in now are positioned to convert to permanent status as it expands.
π§ππ π’π£π£π’π₯π§π¨π‘ππ§π¬ You will be hauling hazardous materials on overnight routes out of Kyle, TX, operating flatbeds, refrigerated trailers (reefers), and dry vans. Two shift options are available depending on your schedule preference. Average workweek is 40 regular hours plus 8 hours of overtime.

- Safely transport hazardous materials on designated overnight routes
- Operate Class A vehicles including flatbeds, reefers, and dry vans
- Ensure full compliance with federal DOT regulations and Texas-specific requirements
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on every shift
- Maintain accurate logs and HOS documentation in accordance with FMCSA standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and any safety concerns
- Follow all hazmat handling, loading, and securement procedures

- Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Average: 40 regular hours + 8 hours overtime per week

- Valid Class A CDL with active Hazmat endorsement (no exceptions)
- Minimum 2 years of hazmat transportation experience
- Minimum 2 years of consistent nighttime driving experience
- Proven experience operating flatbeds, reefers, and dry vans
- Strong working knowledge of Texas DOT and federal FMCSA regulations
- Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety

- Experience hauling multiple hazmat classifications
- Familiarity with HOS electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Prior experience with logistics or third-party carrier operations
