A well-established food manufacturing company on Boston's North Shore is adding a 2nd Shift Maintenance Coordinator to lead an 8-person maintenance team across 5 fully automated production lines. If you're a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead ready to step into a true coordination role at a name-brand food manufacturer, this is worth a look.
⠀
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬
Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-known food manufacturing company with a long track record of production excellence in the New England region. This is a stable, unionized manufacturing environment with a tenured maintenance team and modern automated equipment. The facility runs multiple shifts supporting high-volume production, and maintenance leadership plays a critical role in keeping operations running.
⠀
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬
You'll lead the 2nd shift maintenance team (Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays) reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance and Facilities Manager. Your team of 8 unionized Process Technicians supports 5 automated production lines running conveyors, fryers, packaging machines, palletizers, and robots.
This is a coordination and leadership role, not an execution role. Because of the union structure, you will not perform hands-on repairs. Your value is in planning, prioritizing, and directing, not turning wrenches.
