This role is essential in helping patients begin their mental health journey by coordinating intake, scheduling, verifying insurance, and supporting our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist new and existing patients with warmth and professionalism
- Conduct intake screenings and gather demographic, insurance, and referral information
- Verify insurance coverage and communicate benefit details to patients
- Schedule initial appointments with appropriate providers
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR and ensure all required documentation is collected
- Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and billing/administrative teams
- Support clinic staff and clinicians in daily coordination and front-desk operations
- Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in medical or mental health intake, scheduling, or front office

- Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team environment
- Bilingual in Spanish
