The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Market Research Project Manager to join their consultancy supporting commercial pharmaceutical insights projects. In this role, you'll combine deep methodological knowledge with hands-on project management and operational oversight. From vendor management and survey review to milestone meetings and stakeholder alignment, you'll ensure projects run smoothly from kick-off through final delivery. Your ability to anticipate challenges, elevate deliverables, and guide teams will be key in helping clients exceed internal stakeholder expectations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial pharmaceutical projects from kick-off through to final report, ensuring vendors, teams, and external clients remain aligned with the project plan.
  • Translate project objectives into clear requirements to ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Oversee vendor engagement and performance, providing guidance and oversight to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct first-pass reviews of surveys and discussion guides, providing input to improve quality and alignment.
  • Facilitate the collection and consolidation of feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and facilitate milestone meetings, maintaining clear documentation and communication.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and escalate concerns/issues as they arise.
  • Manage approval systems and support cross-functional approval committees.
  • Act as a second set of eyes on deliverables to elevate quality and ensure client teams exceed internal stakeholder expectations.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience gained in pharmaceutical market research.
  • Strong command of research methodologies and ability to apply them in a commercial context.
  • Skilled in project management from initiation to delivery, with strong attention to detail.
  • Background in commercial research within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage operational complexities in multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, project planning, and execution.
  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Commercial focus with the ability to balance methodological rigor and business objectives.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, humility, and a collaborative approach.
