Job Title: Permanent Dental Hygienist

 

Location: Naperville, IL


Shift:  Monday & Thursday 6:30AM-4:30PM, Tuesday & Wednesday 9:30AM-7:30PM, Fridays Off, & the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month 7:30AM-3:30PM


Software: Dentrix software & Carestream for x-rays.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Schedule is #1 priority - The health of the patients and practice depends on your ability to create an efficient patient flow and maintain a productive schedule while meeting/exceeding office goals on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure patients get the treatment that they need, desire, and deserve by practicing to the highest level of care while supporting doctors’ diagnosis and while increasing your ability to overcome patient obstacles to treatment acceptance.
  • Utilize PCSB (Problem, Consequence, Solution, Benefit) to explain to the patients the consequences of non−treatment.
  • Partner with the business team members in supporting financial guidelines.
  • Support systems with full commitment to ensure consistency and measurable results.
  • Knowledge and use of mastery level patient care communication each day in the practice.
  • Utilize SWOT, DISC, and Emotional treasure with patient flow to elevate the patient experience.
  • Support the doctor with a synergistic approach to patient care through continued partnership on a daily basis.
  • Take full ownership over the patient recare base of the practice by supporting and implementing recare system.
  • Stay focused on ensuring each patient’s time in the practice is honored by committing to high level of efficiency.
  • Maintain the highest standard of patient care at all times when performing hygiene functions.
  • Always present as a team player, demonstrating commitment to help in any way possible for the best patient experience.
  • Participate in team meetings/huddles and utilize TAP sheets for follow through on action items.

Note: New patients: 80 minutes, recare/perio maintenance: 50 minutes, SRP 2 quads: 60 minutes, SRP 4 quads: 90 minutes
