Summary:
The Contract HR Generalist will support the daily operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and leave administration. This temporary role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can adapt quickly, provide hands-on support, and partner effectively with both management and employees.
Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, including posting, interviewing, and onboarding
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns, coaching managers, and maintaining documentation
• Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA, state-specific), ensuring compliance and timely communication
• Assist with performance management processes and partner with leadership on corrective actions
• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal and state laws
• Support benefits enrollment, payroll coordination, and HR reporting as needed
• Collaborate on engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR projects
• Assist with audits and maintain confidentiality across all HR matters
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
• Working knowledge of employment laws and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
