Compensation: The pay range for this position is $50000 - $62000 / Annually


Human Resources Generalist

As a key player in the organization, the Human Resource Generalist will partner with the HR Director to coordinate and administer the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department across multiple locations in a US footprint, in addition to supporting corporate programs and project work while enforcing compliance, company policies, and practices. A successful candidate will assume a variety of responsibilities, including daily administration across HR functions, leading recruitment efforts, coordinating HR activities, and supporting projects across all HR disciplines, with an initial focus on building out modules and the functionality in Paycom, the HRIS.


As a Human Resources Generalist, you will:


  • Build strong working relationships with warehouse employees, drivers, and front‑office staff through proactive communication and daily visibility
  • Learn the company's HR processes, warehouse operations workflow, and Paycom functionality
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation while learning existing processes end‑to‑end
  • Support day‑to‑day employee relations issues by gathering facts, escalating when appropriate, and recommending solutions aligned with company policies
  • Manage routine HR administration (employee changes, compliance documentation, file audits) with high accuracy
  • Assist in full‑cycle recruiting for non-exempt, hourly, and entry‑level roles, reducing time‑to‑fill and improving candidate quality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps and recommending process enhancements
  • Maintain a positive, reliable HR presence on the warehouse floor that employees recognize as helpful, approachable, and solutions‑oriented


As a Human Resources Generalist, you have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Successfully led projects end-to-end
  • The ability to be in the office 5 days a week
  • Proficiency with Paycom HRIS
  • Hands-on experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
  • 1-5 years of experience in Human Resources or supporting employees as a Team Lead, Coordinator, or Trainer
  • A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred


Work Location: This position is on-site in the office, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, and requires that qualified talent be located within commuting distance of Valley View, OH.

Placement Type: Direct Hire

Estimated schedule: Full-time
