Summary
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing accurate payrolls, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting clients with payroll and HCM-related questions while fostering strong, long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and system support inquiries
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll and software-related issues quickly and effectively
- Generate and distribute payroll reports, checks, and related documentation
- Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies
- Provide proactive client support, including training and process improvement guidance
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
- Participate in system training, updates, and continuous learning opportunities
- Contribute to a positive team culture by embodying organizational values
Qualifications and Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in payroll, HR, benefits, or related functions
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and troubleshoot cloud-based platforms
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a client-focused mindset
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or HR preferred
Salary
$20.00–$25.00 per hour, plus potential quarterly bonuses
