Summary:
The Senior HR Generalist manages day-to-day human resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, compliance, and performance management. This role supports business needs while fostering a positive and high-performance workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and support to HR team members and serve as a subject matter expert on HR processes
• Deliver on-site HR support, ensuring consistent and compliant practices across all areas of the organization
• Lead recruitment efforts for hourly and professional roles, including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding
• Administer employee lifecycle activities including new hire orientations, pay changes, benefits enrollment, and offboarding
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and guiding disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
• Partner with leadership on engagement, retention, and development initiatives including stay and exit interviews
• Manage leave administration and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Maintain HR data integrity, records management, and accurate reporting through HRIS and ATS systems
• Assist in policy development, communication, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company and legal standards
• Partner on HR projects, engagement activities, and process improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
• Proficient with HRIS/ATS systems; ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong analytical and project management abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
