The primary objective of this role is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll, including wages, withholdings, and garnishments.
Responsibilities
- Process Payroll for client base (5-7 clients with multiple HRIS systems)
- Up to date on state guidelines
- Assist the HR Generalist team with tax related inquires and be the "go-to" person for payroll related questions
- Ensure and maintain documents for compliance
- Responsible for the accuracy of HRIS payroll related items to include time clocks, data accuracy and tax jurisdiction setup.
- Manage reporting tools for HRIS
- Maintain integrity of payroll processes in alignment with department policies and procedures
- Respond to requests from outside agencies
- Provide excellent customer services to managers, employees, and agencies
- Look for areas of process improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience processing payroll multi-state
- Experience with multiple HRIS systems
- CPP and degree in relevant field, preferred
- Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently
Salary Range: $30-$35/hour. This is a non-exempt position, 30 hours/week max
Work Environment: Hybrid in Cleveland or Philadelphia
