Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, leave management, and engagement programs. This role partners with leaders and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across multiple plant locations, serving as a resource to employees and leaders
• Lead recruitment for hourly positions, ensuring compliance and strong candidate experience
• Manage onboarding, new hire orientation, and milestone check-ins
• Support benefits enrollment and address ongoing employee questions in partnership with Total Rewards
• Advise managers on performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions
• Conduct investigations, exit interviews, and stay interviews, and recommend engagement strategies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and maintain accurate HR records
• Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, and process improvements
• Support payroll processes including timecard approvals, bonus documentation, and unemployment claims
• Prepare HR data reports, communications, and contribute to company-wide engagement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance
• Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems; ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and influencing abilities
• Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) and bilingual Spanish a plus
