Our client is looking for part-time and temporary help for the next 90+ days to help manage benefits analysis and 401k management.
The manufacturing organization operates across multiple industries, including specialty metals and ceramics for the semiconductor industry, biomedical equipment, chemicals, and water purification
systems.
Position Overview
This role helps ensure the Employee Savings and Retirement Plan (401k) are administered accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
The Benefits Plan Analyst will combine technical systems expertise, benefits knowledge, data analysis, and responsive employee support to strengthen plan operations and engagement.
Compensation: $45-$55/hour
Temporary: 90 + Days
Hours: 20/week
Remote with onsite training in Grove City, OH
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans, including the employee savings and retirement plan (401(k))
- Support annual benefit renewals and the annual open enrollment process
- Develop and deliver benefits content and tools used during new hire orientation
- Build effective working relationships with benefit plan vendors and third-party administrators
- Oversee the development and distribution of communications that help employees understand and use the organization's benefit offerings
- Provide leaders with people analytics, HR dashboards, and other data that support strategic and tactical decisions
- Conduct surveys and studies to evaluate pay plan issues, turnover trends, and other business questions
- Use Excel and Paycom reporting tools to analyze information and support accurate benefits administration
- Provide backup support to other HR and benefits team members as needed

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in human resources and benefits administration
- Deep knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing requirements, and compliance obligations affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, Social Security, and Department of Labor requirements
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of benefit plan design
- Advanced customer service, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience using HRIS and benefits platforms, including reporting tools
- The ability to collaborate with HR professionals and support team priorities in a large-scale HR and benefits environment
Preferred:
- CEBS, CBP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with Paycom
