Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist supports a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, compliance, compensation, policy administration, and learning and development. This role partners with managers and employees to foster engagement, ensure compliance, and contribute to organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training initiatives to support employee growth and organizational goals
- Administer learning tools and platforms while driving engagement with managers and staff
- Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluations, career development, and corrective actions
- Create, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures across multiple states
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Support compensation processes including job classification, salary reviews, and bonus calculations
- Manage the intern program including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support
- Conduct employee trainings and support new hire onboarding and offboarding activities
- Partner with senior HR leaders on projects, initiatives, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate process documentation and job descriptions
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
- 7–10 years of broad HR experience preferred
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Experience with learning and development initiatives highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Salary
$105,000 – $115,000 annually
