About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Countertop Hand Fabricator / Polisher to join ourproduction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with granite, quartz, and other solid surface materials, and take pride in producing high-quality, finished countertops with precision and care.

This role is essential to ensuring every piece that leaves the shop meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand fabrication, shaping, and polishing of stone countertops (granite, quartz, marble, and other materials).
• Read and interpret templates, job tickets, and drawings to ensure correct specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to smooth, finish, and detail countertop edges and surfaces.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving slabs or finished tops as needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in countertop fabrication, stone polishing, or a related trade preferred.
• Knowledge of working with granite, quartz, and other natural or engineered stone materials.
• Familiarity with hand tools and polishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (with occasional Saturdays as needed)

Reports to: Shop Supervisor
