Quick highlights:

  • High-ticket, consultative showroom sales, not a cold calling job
  • 5 to 20 scheduled appointments per week, warm inbound and referral-driven
  • Most clients are homeowners with a designer or builder already involved
  • Multi-touch sales cycle with meaningful follow-up and relationship building
  • Walk the showroom, slab yard, and fabrication floor daily, learn the product and process deeply

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cumar is hiring an in-person Showroom Sales Consultant to sell premium stone for high-end residential projects. This is a boutique, high-touch sales environment where the details matter and the client experience matters. You will guide clients through material selection, pricing, and next steps, then drive consistent follow-up until the project is won.

This is not a one-call close role. The sales process is multi-touch and consultative. Clients are making big decisions, often alongside designers and builders, and they expect professional guidance throughout the process.

After the sale is secured, the project is handed off to a dedicated Project Manager for execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Meet with homeowners, designers, and builders at the Cumar facility for scheduled appointments
  • Guide clients through slab selection and material options in the showroom and slab yard
  • Build quotes, manage revisions, and provide clear next steps throughout the decision process
  • Follow up consistently and professionally to move opportunities from interest to sold
  • Maintain accurate notes and pipeline tracking so no opportunity stalls
  • Coordinate clean handoff documentation to the Project Management team after the sale
  • Participate in local networking opportunities to build long-term referral relationships

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • 2 to 5 years of inside sales, showroom sales, or consultative client-facing sales experience
  • Strong follow-through and comfort managing a multi-touch pipeline
  • Polished communication and confidence working with high-end clientele
  • Attention to detail with quotes, revisions, and documentation
  • Comfort working on-site in a structured showroom environment
  • Ability to read plans, do takeoffs, or measure is a major advantage, and something you will learn if you do not already have it
  • Stone, tile, cabinetry, kitchen and bath, or construction sales experience is a plus

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary plus commission
  • Candidates should expect at least $85,000 per year total compensation (base plus commission), with upside based on performance
  • Commission is paid as a straight percentage of revenue
  • Full-time, in person in Everett, MA

HOW TO APPLY

Apply with your resume. If you have experience selling high-ticket projects with a multi-touch follow-up process, include a short note with one example of how you managed pipeline and closed a complex sale. If you can read plans or do takeoffs, call that out clearly.
