Territory Manager, Stone Fabrication Tooling
Location: Ideally based in the Washington, DC area | Territory: DC, Baltimore to Richmond corridor | Work Type: Field-based | Base Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 | Commission: $15,000 to $55,000 | OTE: $70,000 to $120,000
Stay in the stone world, and step into a role where your knowledge of fabrication shops actually matters.
Have you worked in stone fabrication, tooling, adhesives, slab distribution, or another part of the stone world where you learned how fabrication shops really operate? Do you know how to talk credibly with shop owners, production leaders, and fabricators, and are you comfortable rolling up your sleeves for hands-on demos on the shop floor? This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong familiarity with the stone fabrication world who wants to grow a territory, build lasting customer relationships, and represent a supportive company with real momentum in the market.
Intimate knowledge of the stone fabrication world is highly preferred for this role.
Why This Opportunity?
-
Built for Someone Who Knows the Stone World: Candidates from stone tooling, adhesives, fabrication shops, countertop shops, slab distribution, and similar backgrounds will stand out.
-
Strong Product Fit: Sell products that matter directly to fabrication shops, especially cutting tools like blades and bits, along with other key consumables.
-
Hands-On, Credible Selling: This is not a desk-only sales role. You must be comfortable getting into shops, running demos, and speaking technically with fabricators and shop leaders.
-
Real Opportunity to Build: Stonegate can provide a strong leads list, but this person must also be prepared to develop many new accounts and build a meaningful book of business across 100 to 200 shops over time.
-
Supportive Company Culture: Join a relational, family-oriented company that values support, teamwork, and practical problem solving.
-
Established Business with Growing US Presence: Stonegate has an established UK operation with 8 sales reps, existing sales in this territory, and a rep currently visiting the market every month while the US customer base continues to grow.
-
Practical Travel Setup: The territory is designed to minimize overnight stays and long-distance travel.
-
Compensation and Benefits: Base salary of $55,000 to $65,000, plus commission potential of $15,000 to $55,000, along with health insurance, PTO, car allowance, company phone, and company computer.
