ABOUT THE ROLE

Great In Counters is hiring an Account Manager to join the Providence team. This role is ideal for someone who already understands the kitchen and bath, cabinetry, remodeling, or countertop world and knows how to keep orders, timelines, and customer communication moving in the right direction.

This is primarily an order management role, with a touch of sales. You will help guide projects from early client communication through scheduling, documentation, coordination, and final installation. You will be a key point of contact for customers and partners, while also helping keep internal teams aligned.

If you have worked in countertops, cabinetry, kitchen and bath, remodeling, or a related residential interiors business, and you are strong with details, follow-through, and client communication, this could be an excellent fit.

ABOUT GREAT IN COUNTERS

Great In Counters (GIC) is a Providence-based stone and countertop company supporting residential clients throughout the region. The team delivers a high-touch experience, with strong coordination between sales, templating, fabrication, and installation.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Order and project coordination from welcome call through final installation
  • Client communication that keeps homeowners and partners informed and confident
  • Quote support, scheduling, approvals, and project documentation across multiple active jobs
  • Coordination between customers, internal teams, and outside partners to prevent missed details and delays

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and partners throughout the life of each project
  • Manage lead intake and help generate accurate quotes
  • Guide customers through expectations, templating, design changes, approvals, scheduling, and closeout
  • Schedule templates, inspections, fabrication, and installations
  • Maintain clean, accurate documentation of project status and activity in internal systems
  • Ensure fabrication and installation teams have complete specs, notes, and documentation before work begins
  • Provide a high level of customer support so clients feel informed and taken care of throughout the process
  • Support light sales activity as needed, while keeping the main focus on order management and coordination

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience in countertops, kitchen and bath, cabinetry, kitchen remodeling, or a closely related residential interiors industry is required
  • Stone and countertop industry experience is especially valuable
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple active jobs
  • Clear, professional communication with a customer-first mindset
  • The ability to manage orders, scheduling, and documentation without letting details slip
  • Follow-through and accountability, especially when priorities shift
  • Motivation to grow into a leadership role within 12 months

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Base salary: $50,000 to $56,000 per year
  • Performance-based bonus structure
  • Paid time off: up to 1 week accrued in Year 1, up to 2 weeks starting in Year 2
  • Medical coverage offered with a company contribution

WORK SETUP

  • Fully on-site in Providence, RI
  • Full-time schedule
