About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will create and program detailed design diagrams—including precise measurements and engineering data—to support the production of custom stone countertops. You’ll play a vital part in connecting design to production, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and program accurate design diagrams for countertop manufacturing.
  • Ensure production programs are completed, organized, and available for shop use.
  • Provide clear, structured production paperwork for shop employees.
  • Understand equipment and tooling capabilities to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain composure and a positive, problem-solving attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the production process.

Skills & Competencies:

  • 1–2 years of programming experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Alphacam preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-starter, eager to learn, and able to hit the ground running.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in an office setting with occasional time spent on the plant floor to gain an understanding of CNC machines. The role involves the regular use of standard office equipment and light physical activity such as lifting files, bending, and standing.
