In-Home Flooring Sales Consultant
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Territory: Greater Detroit, including Troy, Warren, Clinton Township, Rochester Hills, and Shelby Township
Employment Type: Full time, in person
Compensation: Base $35,000 to $40,000 plus uncapped commission. Typical additional earnings $30,000 to $80,000 based on performance.

Why this role
You will run pre scheduled, in home appointments from a national retail partner and sell directly from a fully stocked mobile showroom. The process is simple for customers, and you have the support, training, and tools to win.
- Average 4 to 5 qualified appointments per day, no cold calling
- Mobile showroom on site to help customers decide and buy
- Clear path to strong commissions with a stable base
What you will do
- Run in home consultations across the Detroit metro from Sterling Heights
- Guide customers through carpet, hardwood, laminate, LVP, and tile options
- Measure accurately, build clear quotes, present financing when available, and close from the mobile showroom
- Track follow ups and orders in the CRM, coordinate with operations for accurate installs, and keep customers informed through completion
What you bring
- Residential sales experience in flooring, remodeling, or home services
- Ability to measure spaces and create accurate quotes
- Clear communication, consistent follow through, and basic CRM proficiency
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and comfort driving the metro area
- CFI certification preferred; hands on flooring knowledge or installation background a plus
Schedule
Full time with homeowner friendly hours. Expect some early evenings or Saturdays based on appointment demand.
