Office Administrator, Tax and Financial Services (Part Time)

Location 7600 Grand River Road, Suite 150, Brighton, MI 48114
Compensation $25 to $30 per hour, hourly, non exempt, W2
Schedule 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. Flexible hours. In office. Unpaid time off available around the school calendar.
Benefits None at this time. Growth path to expand hours, responsibilities, and pay as the firm grows.
Start Target start by the first week of December 2025

About the Role

From December through April the focus is tax support and accurate data entry. From May onward the focus shifts to client service for two to three financial advisors.

What You Will Do

  • Review official documents and transfer data to tax forms with high accuracy.
  • Track client documents, scan and file, manage e-signature workflows.
  • Schedule client appointments and manage confirmations.
  • Answer inbound calls and emails with clear, friendly updates.
  • Prepare forms, gather signatures, and route filings for the tax team.
  • After April, support financial advisors with account paperwork, follow ups, and client onboarding.
  • Maintain checklists and timelines so the team stays on track.

What You Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and solid math skills.
  • Comfort working with forms and step by step checklists.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Warm, professional client service in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to protect confidential information and handle sensitive data.
  • Experience in a CPA firm or financial advisory office is helpful, not required.

Work Style and Policies
In office, 9 to 3 schedule with flexibility for family needs. Unpaid time off available during school breaks with advance notice. Background check required. Dress code is professional business casual. Parking available at the office. No expected overtime. No paid holidays.

Part time to start. The firm is growing. Options to add hours, take on more responsibility, and increase pay over time.
