Project Coordinator, High End Residential Stone

Location: Everett, MA | Work Type: Full-Time, In-Person | Pay: $60,000 to $80,000

Step into a project support role where the work is custom, high end, and detail driven.

Are you someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, tracking moving pieces, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks? Do you like working behind the scenes to help complex jobs stay on schedule and move smoothly from planning through production and installation? This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to support senior project managers on high end residential work where quality, follow through, and attention to detail matter. If so, this Project Coordinator role with Cumar could be a great fit.

Why This Opportunity?

  • High End, Custom Work: Support luxury residential projects involving marble and other natural stone applications, including countertops, fireplaces, bathrooms, walls, ceilings, and other architectural features.
  • Meaningful Project Scope: Help coordinate projects that are detailed, custom, and often substantial in size and complexity.
  • Strong Team Structure: Each Project Coordinator works closely with a Senior Project Manager and supports a project management team led by the Project Management and Engineering Manager.
  • In-Person, Team-Oriented Environment: This is a hands-on office-based role where communication, follow through, and teamwork matter.
  • Warm, Family-Oriented Culture: Cumar is proud of its work, proud of its people, and not overly corporate. This is a hardworking team that values professionalism, craftsmanship, and strong relationships.
  • Compensation and Benefits: $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience, plus health insurance, 401(k) after 6 months, 1 week of vacation to start, and paid holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support a Senior Project Manager in keeping projects organized and moving on schedule.
  • Review plans, quotes, Excel sheets, and project details to help track progress and next steps.
  • Make sure materials have been ordered and help monitor job status throughout the life of the project.
  • Coordinate installation scheduling and help ensure projects are on the calendar at the right time.
  • Track project flow through fabrication and help manage overall project schedules.
  • Keep information organized and aligned across internal teams so work moves efficiently from planning through completion.
  • Support mostly office-based coordination work, with minimal site visits.

What You Bring

  • Experience in project coordination, project support, construction administration, or a similar role in construction or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts at once.
  • A detail-oriented approach and a natural habit of following through.
  • Comfort reviewing plans, quotes, schedules, and spreadsheets.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a team-first mindset.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or other construction-related software is helpful.
  • Experience in stone, millwork, cabinetry, tile, custom interiors, or high end residential construction is a plus.
