Commercial Sales Representative – Stone Countertops

Location: Providence, RI | Work Type: In-Person + Regional Travel
Pay: $65,000–$135,000/year (base + commission depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time | B2B Sales Role

Great in Counters, a respected stone fabrication company based in Providence, RI, is hiring a full-time Commercial Sales Representative to lead business development across large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects. From education and healthcare to mixed-use and retail, you'll help spec and sell stone surfaces into projects that define the built environment across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and managing relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and developers
  • Identifying upcoming bid opportunities and coordinating quoting efforts with the internal team
  • Educating partners on material options, fabrication capabilities, lead times, and project feasibility
  • Attending industry events, networking functions, and jobsite walkthroughs as needed
  • Tracking sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools and coordinating handoffs to production teams

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales within construction, architecture, or a related trade
  • Strong understanding of the commercial project lifecycle — from design to closeout
  • Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers over long sales cycles
  • Knowledge of stone surfaces, millwork, or finish materials (Preferred but not required)
  • Comfort with CRM systems and general tech fluency (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Procore)
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
