Commercial Sales Representative (Stone & Solid Surface Industry)

Location: Providence, RI | Work Type: In-Person | Pay: $50,000–$100,000/year + mileage reimbursement

Are you a relationship-first sales professional who thrives in commercial construction? We’re looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our presence across Rhode Island and southern New England.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to build trust with general contractors, millworkers, and architects — and who wants to be part of a team that backs them up every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Building strong relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, and millwork firms in the commercial space.
  • Managing projects from the first conversation through proposal, negotiation, and kickoff.
  • Visiting job sites to clarify scope and ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Working with internal estimators to create accurate, realistic bids that win.
  • Using CRM tools to track pipeline progress and client activity.
  • Representing Great in Counters at networking events, industry gatherings, and client meetings.
What You Bring:
  • Sales Experience – At least 3 years in B2B sales, ideally in construction, stone, or related industries.
  • Trusted Communicator – You’re great with people, good at follow-through, and understand how to keep deals on track.
  • Self-Starter – You’re organized, accountable, and comfortable managing your own territory.
  • Valid Driver’s License – You’re ready to be in the field, where relationships are built.
  • (Preferred) Experience with blueprint reading and commercial project workflows (hospitality, multifamily, institutional).
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with quartz, granite, marble, and other stone surfaces.
