We’re currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a high-performing fabrication and installation company in the stone countertop industry. This is a major leadership role overseeing templating, fabrication, and install teams. The right person will bring strong production management skills, deep technical understanding of manufacturing/fabrication processes, and a passion for developing people and systems in a growing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all aspects of operations from templating through installation, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery
  • Directly supervise fabrication, templating, and installation staff with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production workflows, testing new processes and measuring outcomes
  • Drive KPI performance and collaborate with ownership and GM to meet growth targets
  • Hire, train, and manage a growing team including support roles
  • Maintain safety compliance, audit schedules, and ensure equipment upkeep
  • Improve documentation, reporting, and systems as the company scales

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years management experience in a technical, production, or fabrication environment
  • Experience hiring, leading, and motivating skilled trades teams
  • Demonstrated ability to create, track, and improve KPIs
  • Comfortable implementing process improvement strategies
  • Strong communication and decision-making ability
  • Proficient with MS Office, job management software, and digital tools

PREFERRED

  • Experience in stone countertop industry
  • Lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma, or Kaizen experience
  • Degree in operations, industrial technology, or similar
  • Customer-facing experience and ability to support service goals

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary = $80,000–$90,000+ depending on experience
  • Bonus = Performance-based incentives
  • On-Target Earnings = $100,000+
  • 401(k) with company match
