What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Estimator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building accurate estimates for countertop and residential tile installation projects, with occasional commercial tile bidding.
• Reviewing blueprints, scope of labor, and plan specifications to create organized, reliable quotes.
• Preparing estimates for both showroom customers and dealer customers.
• Completing detailed residential tile estimates for flooring, showers, backsplashes, fireplaces, and custom installations.
• Performing material takeoffs for tile, underlayment, membranes, trims, and setting materials.
• Communicating quickly with customers when questions come up during the quoting process.
• Following up on quotes, asking for the order, and helping move projects forward.
• Answering customer calls and returning voicemails in a timely manner.
• Reviewing and updating change orders to help keep production on time.
• Loading new job information into the ERP and maintaining organized customer job files.
• Delivering an excellent customer experience while continuing to grow your industry knowledge.

What You Bring:

• 2 to 3 years of experience working as an Estimator.
• Tile estimating experience, with residential experience preferred and commercial exposure a plus.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and spatial reasoning skills.
• Confidence reading blueprints, drawings, and labor scope details.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to stay organized and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable transportation.
